Spontaneity in Color: Embracing the Unexpected in Abstract Art
In my artistic practice, I adhere to the principle of spontaneity, working with abstraction predominantly using acrylic and oil on canvas. I avoid deliberate forms and movements, focusing instead on the rapidity of execution, which transforms the creative act into an experiment. This approach frees me from complete control over the process and its outcome, inviting an emotional response rather than a specific interpretation.
Beginning with a subtle, almost imperceptible feeling, I allow color to take on a central role throughout my artistic process. Here, color transcends its conventional function as a medium; it becomes the protagonist, imbuing each hue with narrative and emotion. By combining the abstract sensation with the concrete form of color spots, I synthesize the dichotomies of chance and deliberation, precision and playfulness.
This philosophy is reflected across my evolving body of work, much of which can be explored on my website, where color takes center stage in a constantly shifting visual language.
