Richard Raveen Chester es un artista multifacético. Desarrolló una nueva forma de impresión utilizando una técnica digital y superponiendo capas sobre papel de arte pesado. Se especializa en la impresión contemporánea en color simultánea y continua. El artista vuelve a trabajar la impresión después de la transferencia de marouflage en papel de arte pesado para lograr el efecto artístico.
Su obra se inspira principalmente en sus paseos por el campo y las sensaciones o sentimientos que experimenta al realizarlos, y que trata de compartir con los espectadores de sus obras.
Richard Raveen Chester nació en 1954 en la India. Se graduó con una Licenciatura en Bellas Artes en Comunicación Visual de la Escuela de Arte de la Universidad de Delhi en 1976. Actualmente vive y trabaja en Angers (Francia).
