Leni Smoragdova es una fotógrafa y artista altamente creativa. Ella es la creadora de los conceptos de Transaction Art. Inicialmente, acuñó el lema: "Somos hijos de la guerra, la guerra es dinero, el dinero no tiene rostro, es tan simple como la Transacción, somos hijos de la Transacción, somos niños con rostros ocultos".
TransactionArt nació en Londres; conoció a una Musa, la Musa del Arte Transaccional, y comenzó a ocultar los rostros de las personas en su arte, denominado "rostros ocultos". En ese momento, se lanzó la "Colección de figuras".
Leni Smoragdova actualmente reside y trabaja en Israel. Obtuvo títulos de la Universidad Estatal de Smolensk en Rusia y Central Saint Martins en el Reino Unido (Londres). De 2010 a 2012, trabajó como artista para el espectáculo de Madonna. Ha exhibido su trabajo internacionalmente y está representada por Hay Hills Gallery en Londres y Shchukin Gallery en Nueva York.
