Victor Molev es un artista canadiense contemporáneo galardonado. Trabaja en los estilos de Realismo Decorativo, Fantasía, Simbolismo y Surrealismo. A mediados de la década de 1970, como joven aspirante a artista, tomó lecciones de dibujo y pintura bajo el aprendizaje de la escultora moscovita Tatyana Vishnyakova. Pero no fue hasta los veinte años que Molev se familiarizó con las obras de Salvador Dalí, Max Ernst, Rene Magritte, MC Escher y Frank Frazetta a través de libros y revistas. Molev se inspiró increíblemente en estos artistas que se convirtieron en sus mentores.
Después de recibir una educación en arquitectura, el artista trabajó en el campo durante diez años. Luego trabajó como escenógrafo en el Teatro de Ópera y Ballet Pushkin. Ambos trabajos aún se reflejan en los procesos creativos del artista. Ha creado su propio mundo único e intuitivo de sueños y absurdos. Sus obras son sinceramente ingenuas y amables.
