Sandra Merritt studied photography at the Maryland Institute, College of Art in Baltimore. A Washington, D.C. photographer who recently relocated to Boise, Idaho, where she has been photographing women nude in the natural landscape. This recent work will be exhibited in May 2002 at the Focus Gallery in San Francisco. Prior to working with women nude, Sandra's heart was in documentary photography working with the Mayan indians in Chiapas, Mexico and the Kurdish people in Eastern Turkey.
