The award winning images in this gallery were all taken in the magnificent deserts of Southern California. All the images of the interiors and exteriors of abandoned structures are as you see them. No props were added, and no artificial lighting was used. All images were captured in different formats on Fuji professional film. They are not digital. I do all of my own printing from my negatives, and no digital processes of any kind are used at any time during the reproduction of these images. The images are printed in signed and numbered limited editions of 25 on Kodak Ultra and Supra Endura color print papers, and, if properly cared for, will last upwards of 100 years. I have more information on my site, and if you google my name you will pull up a link to my site. If you have questions or wish to comment, even critically, please use the contact link to contact me. Or you may contact me by googleing my name which will pull up a link to my site which has contact information. Thank you for viewing my work, and I hope you enjoyed it.

This is my newest project. These pictures were shot in and around downtown Los Angeles, obviously at night. When I first conceived this project, I didn't know if there would be enough light, but Los Angeles at night provided a riot of light from a cacophony of sources. Direct light, reflected light, ambient light, and always the dark seeking to recapture the little islands of illumination created in the night.
These images are printed in limited and signed editions of 25 on Oriental cold tone fiber paper, and will last indefinately. I do all of my own printing from my own negatives, and no digital processes are used at any time while printing these images. If you have any questions or wish to comment, even critically, please contact me through Artmajeur, or google my name which will pull up a link to my site, and you may contact me through my site.
Thank you for viewing my work and I hope you enjoyed my it. Martin.
