What made you decide to become an artist? What is your background ?

I have always been passionate about drawing and then painting. More and more I felt the visceral urge to create. To be able to have an idea and put it down on a canvas is fantastic.

What are the 3 things that make you different from other artists?

I am quite dispersed in my creations because I have a lot of ideas and as soon as I implement an idea that already another idea emerges and I want to bring the new idea to fruition. And generally there is always a message behind my paintings.

Where does your inspiration come from?

I document a lot, to apply my ideas, which may have had an influence on other artists or great masters.

Tell us about the conception of your works, do you have a long preparatory work or is it quite spontaneous?

It s like a puzzle in my head, I have an idea and then I try to find what might be relevant to the subject. Very often I do a preparatory drawing.

What do you want to show through your work?

A message, a feeling, the reflection.

In your work do you use techniques or materials that are out of the ordinary?

No, these are common materials.

Do you have a favorite format? Why ?

I like all the formats, all are interesting, we don't say the same things if we say them with a very large format or with a small format

What difficulties do you encounter in your work?

It depends on the subjects, the light or the details.

How do you work? At home, in a shared workshop, in your own workshop?

I work at home, generally with music depending on what I paint I put on different music. This is very important to me, it helps me free myself in my concentration.

Does the work of an artist take you to travel a lot?

No .

What has been the best moment of your career?

To have a buyer who has a crush on one of my works which means that I have managed to touch the artistic sensibility of a person and that warms the heart.

How do you see your work in ten years?

I would do even more paintings !!

What are you currently working on? Are you planning an exhibition soon?

On a Zen painting order. I will wait a little longer and I will do an exhibition at the Porte de Versailles.

If you could have created a masterpiece in the history of art, which one would you choose? Why ?

One of Tamara de Lempicka's paintings, the painting represents her ex-husband with an unfinished hand, apart from this detail, I find it very powerful and magnificent in its construction and its lines of force. Just wonderful.

If you could invite a famous artist for dinner (dead or alive), which one would you choose? Why ?

Dali for his artistic genius and his whimsical side!
