My sales on Artmajeur have always gone well, my prices are displayed and via the site's order form everything is clear and simple for me and for the buyer. Payment is always made by Paypal, it avoids any unpleasant surprises... anyone asking me for other means such as check or transfer: I discuss with them, I ask them a few questions in order to discover the scam...
I spend a few minutes, 1 or 2 days a week to administer my site, it's fast and accessible via tablet and smartphone, so I can download photos of my paintings directly from my phone quietly on my couch! The management of the images of my works is impeccable, fast, clear and simple.
The international dimension of Artmajeur is important, indeed my last sale was in Belgium (okay it's not very far, but it's not France ....) I also had contacts for exhibitions abroad (good plans and bad ones…)
The direct contact system reassures the buyer, I write him a short note before, during and after the shipment. It also allows you to discuss and create a good network, to get feedback from the buyer on the quality of the shipment, the deadline and their overall satisfaction. My advice: As you would in a fair or an exhibition, do not hesitate to speak with the future buyer, if you have any doubts about honesty, ask him enough questions and never accept a check or transfer. after sending your works. Prefer Paypal. If you hesitate, find out about search engines (the most common scams are easily detectable).
