Robot Heart's Fare Forward will park their original Robot Heart Bus at Wollman Rink for a two-day music festival with 13 acts.

Robot Heart Collective, on a mission to spread love and music around the world, will park their iconic Art Car in Central Park for a transcendent 2-day music festival. From April 30 to May 1, Fare Forward will bring world-class performers, artistic events, food options, and conscious revelry to Wollman Rink for one exciting weekend. Since 2008, the legendary Robot Heart Art Car has graced Burning Man. This year, the dry desert has been replaced with a concrete jungle!

The Robot Heart team created the ever-evolving bus and Robot Heart sound system, which is still being refined and rebuilt 15 years later. The system is unquestionably unusual, with musicians who have played it describing it as an "instrument in its own right." At the weekend-long festival, attendees are encouraged to appreciate the present, transcend their senses, and attain a state of togetherness. Acid Pauli, Cymande, Formerly, DJ Dill, Guy Laliberté, The Illustrious Blacks, and others will be among the electronic acts performing. And, of course, a festival isn't complete without food. Their "vendor village" will provide a wide range of international cuisines, with a focus on local and organic ingredients.

The event will not only commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Robot Heart community and the 50th anniversary of the Robot Heart 1972 English bus, but it will also serve as a memorial for Robot Heart founder George Mueller (a.k.a Geo). Between 2008 and 2016, Robot Heart hosted yearly immersive music and art festivals that drew crowds of over 4,000 people. As an "extension and celebration of that community, tied together by similar ideals of inclusivity, giving, environmental responsibility, and mutual respect," the group of dreamers, artists, and entrepreneurs presents events during Burning Man and around the world.

Robot Heart provides a portion of the proceeds from each event to a charitable organization. The City Parks Foundation will receive all revenues from the Central Park event this year, including a scholarship to a music/arts school.
