From a very early age he was inclined to painting, thus being from his primary studies where he already participated in different school competitions of paintings, workshops and other artistic creations.
Once admitted to the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts from the beginning of his studies he is part of a select group of students belonging to the creative workshop of drawing and painting. This encourages the very young creator to participate in numerous collective exhibitions presenting his works inside and outside the country. As a student he participates in various plastic arts competitions, in the realization of Mural Paintings and his works are given as gifts to national and cultural personalities in Seville, Spain. The great handling of color, techniques and design makes Piñol's works to be shown in important gallery spaces, this leads to Awards and Mentions in different competitions and art salons.
From the first works a clear tendency towards the creative is marked, Abstraction as a style awakens a great interest and is implicit in most of his works. In some of his initial stages a very marked study towards Cubism and Futurism is seen, emphasizing the difference in pictorial planes, the movement present in the figure and the drawing character of the line and the stroke.
Since 2003, already graduated as a Professional Plastic Artist from the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts, the desire to experiment with unconventional materials and textures is included in his works, the tendency towards the experimental and the search for the new is always present in them. He addresses various themes, always prioritizing abstraction.
Currently, the young artist's works are featured in various art salons, biennials, auctions, and in permanent institutional and private collections. They have also been featured on book covers and displayed as faithful representatives of Cuban culture at various artistic events abroad. The artist has had 10 solo exhibitions and more than 60 group exhibitions. His works can be found in countries such as Spain, the United States, France, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Chile, Trinidad Tobago, Argentina, and Panama.
