Axelle du Rouret est née à Paris.Elle vit dans différents pays entre 1970 et 1985 (Angleterre, Tunisie, Italie, Hollande). De retour en France elle est formée au cours Florent et à l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris, entre 1988 et 1993.
Depuis, son parcours présente de multiples facettes. Elle œuvre en tant que peintre, comédienne, mais aussi dans la musique où elle apparaît comme chanteuse.
Peintre, elle réalise plusieurs expositions personnelles et collectives depuis 1988, autour des différents aspects de son travail. D’un côté, des toiles dans le mouvement de la figuration narrative, paysages abstraits, compositions et collages jouant des formes et des couleurs, de l’autre, des portraits, personnages seuls ou en groupe, toujours mis en scène.Elle réalise également des portraits sur commande.
