Hortense est artiste peintre et professeur de yoga. C’est dans son atelier La Canopée à Paris qu’elle réunit ses deux activités.
Après s’être formée à l’enseignement du yoga et de la méditation, Hortense se tourne vers la pratique artistique. Elle rejoint en 2017 l’atelier de Gonzalo Belmonte au centre des beaux-arts de la ville de Paris. Depuis 2020, elle suit les enseignements chamaniques d'Anne-Marie Kouchner, qui influencent son travail artistique.
Hortense exprime sa perception de la vie dans ses tableaux et ses dessins. Chaque objet, chaque être, chaque espace possède une conscience propre, un esprit, qu’elle tente de retranscrire.
