Pascal Sentenac vit et travaille à Paris.
Il mène depuis plus de quinze ans une recherche personnelle sur l’image photographique, en parallèle de son métier de directeur de la photographie pour le cinema et la télévision qu’il exerce depuis trente ans et de son activité de scénariste.
La narration, la mise en lumière des lieux, des êtres, leur mise en absence ou en présence, l’exploration des sensations sont les fils conducteurs de son travail.
Considérant que le cinéma, l’écriture et la photographie sont des arts différents, mais complémentaires, il développe des projets sur ces trois axes, qu’il explore séparément ou en résonance au fil de ses thématiques. Il collabore par ailleurs régulièrement avec d’autres artistes : musiciens, plasticiens, sculpteurs, metteurs en scène...
Ses séries ont été primées dans plusieurs festivals en France et à l'étranger.
