Née à Paris en 1988, Charlotte est diplômée en 2016 de l’ENSBA Lyon. En 2017 elle est invitée pour une résidence de trois mois à Moly-Sabata (38), où elle décide d’utiliser l’architecture-même de la maison comme châssis pour ses peintures monumentales. Elle a ensuite exposé à la Galerie Tator puis Galerie B+ à Lyon et à la Galerie Houg à Paris. Charlotte Denamur a participé à l’exposition collective hors les murs de Moly-Sabata pendant Artorama à Marseille en août 2018. En mars 2019 Charlotte est invitée a présenté son travail dans la galerie de l’Institut Français de Slovaquie à Bratislava. Dans le cadre de l’exposition Là où les eaux se mêlent pour la 15ème Édition de la Biennale d’Art Contemporain de Lyon, Charlotte réalise une peinture monumentale suspendue au plafond de l’Institut d’Art Contemporain. Elle est lauréate du prix de la Jeune Création Auvergne Rhônes-Alpes.
Après avoir développé une intense pratique d’atelier à l’Adera en banlieue lyonnaise, l’artiste vit et travaille maintenant à Paris, d’abord à la Cité Internationale des Arts où elle a été résidente en 2020/2021 et actuellement dans un atelier collectif à Ivry sur Seine.
