Thalie Cardo est une artiste contemporaine française qui puise son inspiration dans l'Expressionnisme et la Nouvelle Objectivité.
Son style unique se distingue par des personnages singuliers aux longs bras, grandes mains et visages subtilement dysmorphiques. Ces figures cherchent à caper des sentiments intériorisés, invitant le spectateur à une réflexion intime.
Thalie Cardo place ses personnages dans des ambiances nocturnes et intimistes, souvent des cafés ou des intérieurs cossus. Elle peint à l'huile pour créer une palette riche et vibrante, dominée par des tons chauds, appliqués de manière gestuelle et expressive. Ses petits formats accentuent l'atmosphère intime et personnelle de ses œuvre.
Née à Bruxelles au sein d'une famille d'artistes peintres. Thalie a vécu plus de 30 ans à Paris avant de s'installer à Marseille.
Formée en Art plastique et en Arts appliqué elle a d'abord exploré le travail du vitrail avant de se tourner vers la peinture.
Au fil de sa carrière Thalie Cardo a participé à de nombreuses expositions, notamment Galerie Victor Schoelcher à Paris14, Galerie Archives à Paris6, Salon Peinture et Sculpture du Palais Longchamps, Galerie Lisa Deck à Marseille …
Elle a également été sélectionnée pour des événements artistiques tels que L’ArtPrice au Luxembourg et le Salon de peinture RankArt d’Aix-en-Provence. Elle a remporté le 1er prix en Dessin au concours "P'art'trimoine".
