About the author
My name is Ekaterina Zvezdina, I'm a professional abstract artist. My 10 years artistic experience led me to more than 15 group and solo exhibitions, my own studio where I teach painting and drawing. Since 2020 my workshops visited more than 250 emerging artists.
My husband's professional journey led us to the United States, where we've embraced the diverse landscapes, cultures, and opportunities that this country has to offer. Our adventurous spirits have taken us through 17 states, cruising along the East Coast, discovering the beauty that fuels my artistic inspiration.
While I may not boast a formal art school degree, I proudly consider myself a self-taught artist. In this digital age, the absence of traditional education has become my advantage, granting me the freedom to focus on what truly resonates with me. Continuously learning, I immerse myself in the art world through online courses, videos of fellow artists, and various exhibitions, understanding the nuances that captivate both creators and viewers.
I exhitib my works twice a year. I use Instagram, my own website and online galleries for selling my art all over the world. I participate in International art fairs and think that Artfinder will give me an opportunity to find more collectors of my art.
Currently, my artistic journey unfolds through mixed media techniques, weaving together golden leaf accents, texture paste, oil pastels, acrylic paints, and markers. My creations range from small, affordable pieces to large, abstract or themed works that seamlessly integrate into any space. I firmly believe that being an artist is my life's purpose. Despite officially entering the art market only three years ago, over 50 of my works have already found loving homes across the globe, from the US and Canada to France, Germany, and Russia.
My inspiration flows from the world around me, drawn to the mesmerizing hues of flowers, leaves, and even the random objects strewn on the ground. A simple encounter in a shop can trigger a flood of creative energy, compelling me to return to my canvas and translate these inspirations into vibrant expressions of color and form. Each piece of art is infused with my positive vibes, encapsulating the sunshine of my love for life.
