Nana Plamadeala was born Natalia Kiritchenko, in Chisinau (Moldova). She graduated from the Pedagogical University, Chisinau in Cinema Course, Scenography and Costumes, Moscow Higher Institute of Cinema in 1985. Living in France since 1992, she shares her life between Brussels and Paris.
