Complètement autodidacte en peinture, elle multiplie les expériences.
Elle a, depuis 2009, trouvé un style qui lui convient, en créant des pièces de puzzle géantes colorées aux formes géométriques, ou des personnages, inspirés des peintres qui l’ont profondément marquée : Basquiat, Picasso, Miro ...
Mayco s'est également essayée à la création de quelques pièces d'ameublement qui ont été repérées par des professionnels.
Les couleurs, les formes collectées depuis son enfance ne demandent qu’à sortir.
L’association de ces couleurs, des pièces de puzzle, sont pour elle, comme un jeu d’enfant.
Elle peint sur ses pièces, jouant avec leurs jolies courbes, leurs formes variées. Elle les éparpille provoquant chez celui qui les regarde un retour à l’enfance.
Mayco was trained as an architect in the States and is truly fascinated by colors and shapes.
She is self taught in painting - she experienced different styles until 2009, when she found one that fit her the best: painting symmetrical shapes or characters inspired by painters who profoundly impacted her such as Picasso, Miro and Kandinsky, on giant puzzle pieces.
Mayco also tried out creating a few pieces of furniture that have already caught the attention of professionals.
The colors and shapes she witnessed as a child are now resurfacing.
