Dès son plus jeune âge, Michèle Péré est fascinée par la broderie qu'elle apprend auprès de sa mère vietnamienne. Lors de ses voyages en Asie elle découvre les techniques du tissage et les subtilités de la broderie. Elle se perfectionne et obtient ses diplômes en broderie d'art en 2000 et son BMA (brevet des métiers d'art ) en 2003.
Sa passion pour la broderie la mène naturellement à exercer son métier dans les ateliers de haute couture parisien comme Chanel et Jean Paul Gautier pendant de nombreuses années.
Elle visite régulièrement les expositions d'art contemporain avec son amie peintre Catherine Clare avec laquelle la création picturale devient indissociable de la broderie d'art.

Ses thèmes favoris ethniques sont piochées çà et là dans les cultures du monde entier. Wax africain, tribale, bohème, indienne, exotique, c'est le mariage entre les différentes esthétiques qui rendent ses créations si uniques.
Ces oeuvres lui ont valu de nombreuses expositions en France, notamment à Paris et à San Francisco où elle se rend chaque année.
