Artiste autodidacte, le style de Christine est particulièrement difficile à déterminer. Il y a dans son travail, une pluralité qui s'explique certainement par ses souvenirs d'Afrique, ses interrogations sur l'être humain, ses origines portugaises et son attirance pour les parcours complexes.
De même, au niveau de la technique, elle aime se diversifier en utilisant tantôt l'huile, tantôt l'acrylique. Chacune à leur manière permet de multiples possibilités, dit-elle. Pour sa série "Psycho' Art", l'acrylique séchant plus vite était parfaite. Par contre, pour ses séries "Carreaux" et "Afrique", l'huile donnait plus de profondeur avec des couleurs plus chaudes. Mais Christine ne s'arrête pas là, elle essaie également de nouvelles méthodes comme le collage, le grattage et des mélanges spécifiquement réalisés pour donner plus d'effet à la matière. Dernièrement, elle expérimente l'aquarelle et découvre une autre forme créatrice exigeant une grande souplesse, une promptitude de réflexes et surtout de la tolérance. Finalement, on ne finit jamais d'appendre ce qui convient parfaitement à Christine, avoue t-elle.
