Dès le plus jeune age, j'ai été attiré par l'expression picturale sous toutes ses formes et techniques. La lumière, les couleurs, les ombres, les contrastes, autant de vibrations qui génèrent des émotions. Mon ambition est de parvenir à les transcrire, arrêter ces instants, ralentir le temps, et les fixer sur le support, de manière à pouvoir les partager.
Natif de la région parisienne, j'ai suivi la classe du professeur GARNIER (Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts, Paris) et ai fréquenté la section "graphisme et modèle vivant", de l'école Victor Hugo, Place des Vosges à Paris. Je me suis installé à Bordeaux à 21 ans et suis tombé amoureux de cette belle région. A mon arrivée en Aquitaine, j'ai profité, à l'Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux, en cours du soir, des conseils de M. Parson.
Mon parcours professionnel m'a permis de vivre plus de 20 ans dans différents pays (Espagne, Inde, Russie, Georgie et Guinée Equatoriale). La découverte d'autres cultures, d'autres lumières ont toujours été source d'inspiration.
Je suis maintenant installé près de Bazas en sud-Gironde, profitant d'un cadre de vie qualitatif, proche de la nature et de ses belles lumières. Autodidacte en peinture, j'ai donc repris mes pinceaux, au sein d'un atelier animé par Jean-Pierre BOUSCARRUT, artiste régional qui apporte tout son savoir-faire et sa passion aux membres de Baz'Arts Grafics.
