Né à Sète, diplômé des Beaux Arts de Montpellier, élève de Camille Descossy, Georges Dezeuze et Jean Raymond Bessil, fondateurs du groupe artistique Montpellier – Sète des années 60.
Peintre figuratif à l'huile sur toile de lin, peintre « in situ », coloriste dans l’âme, j’ai réalisé de nombreuses toiles en Italie, Sicile. En 2022, j’ai été envoyé au Maroc par la ville de Sète et le Comité de Jumelage pour une mise en résidence artistique à El Jadida. A l’issue de quoi, j’ai exposé dans le cadre de l’office culturel marocain en présence des autorités y compris Monsieur le maire de Sète.
Depuis près de 5 ans, je pratique la peinture portuaire, particulièrement à Sète. J’ai publié un livre « Peindre Sète… », Marines d’Alain Delmas (en vente au musée Paul Valéry).
Ma démarche picturale est d’aller à la rencontre de la nature, poser mon chevalet sur le motif, appréhender des espaces qu’ils soient maritimes ou non. Capter l’esprit du sujet suscite en moi des sensations fortes, mettant en jeu à chaque instant des nouvelles expressions picturales.

Il en résulte que ma peinture n’est pas monocorde, elle fluctue selon les thèmes abordés, le moment présent.
Ainsi, ma palette en devient parfois fauve.
