Nato a Torino nel 1936 ha compiuto gli studi nella sua città presso il Liceo Artistico dell'Accademia Albertina dove è stato allievo dei pittori Gregorio Calvi di Bergolo e Gigi Morbelli; dal 1960 risiede e lavora a Diano Marina (IM) dedicandosi in particolar modo all'incisione e all'acquerello . Ritrattista e paesaggista ha esposto in varie rassegne personali e collettive, ottenendo premi e riconoscimenti. Nel 1985 ha aperto la propria bottega d'arte in via Cairoli, a Diano Marina (IM) dove incideva e stampava direttamente le proprie acqueforti in tiratura limitata e sempre numerate progressivamente. Ha dipinto anche molti acquerelli del Ponente Ligure, nature morte e figure. La sua attività è stata recensita da quotidiani, riviste di informazione e dall'Annuario di Arte Contemporanea Comanducci (ed. COMED)
