Frequently Asked Questions
What are the advantages of leasing works of art?
- Financial Flexibility: You can enjoy exceptional, high-value works of art without a large initial investment.
- Tax Benefits: Receive potential tax benefits as rents can be deducted as a business expense.
How are the prices of monthly payments for leasing works of art set?
- The costs depend on the value of the work, the duration of the leasing contract, and any services included such as installation.
Can we buy the work after the leasing period?
- Yes, on ArtMajeur leasing contracts offer a purchase option at the end of the contract, allowing customers to acquire the work at a determined price (residual value).
How are the safety and insurance of works managed?
- Insurance during the duration of the rental contract is the responsibility of the customer. It is therefore important to check the details of your insurance contract to be sure that your leased works are covered in the event of damage.
What are the conditions for terminating the leasing contract before its end?
- Unless there are specific conditions, leasing contracts for works of art commit the client to payment of the entire price of the work; payments are therefore due until the end of the lease.

About the author
Classical and 'early music' and painting have determined my whole life since childhood. Born in Hungary, I studied music in Budapest and emigrated to Germany in the mid-80s. I have lived and worked in the Eifel for over 30 years. Music is my main pillar, visual art my second. It all began with drawing and the obligatory: practice, practice, practice. After experimenting with different techniques, there are three that I prefer to all the others: two slow ones (oil painting and etching) and one fast one (ink drawing). I am fascinated by the contrast between the linear and the flat. My ink drawings are pure brush drawings. I make the oil paintings using 'old master painting techniques'. One simple thing was to find a theme in my art: as a great animal lover, it was very obvious that I 'limit' myself to depictions of animals. But every now and then I get inspired by nature: trees, meadows, etc.
I draw every day and have been doing so for 25 years. Themes, techniques and drawing style show a clear signature, but they change continuously and always remain in flux.
I love series (not TV!), such as tree studies, corvids or people with animals, red ink drawings, etc.
My works - which I present exclusively online - are in private collections worldwide.
