A self-taught artist, Chris Rose practices drawing, painting and photography. A few years later, her curiosity and interest in urban art and pop culture led her to discover another form of art, collage. Thus, she uses mixed techniques by tearing, cutting and sticking in successive layers in order to compose patchworks of paper recovered from posters collected in the street. The common themes in Chris Rose's work is to create an urban style with emblematic icons of cinema, music or fashion. She uses different techniques such as acrylic, aerosol, collage, pastels on different supports such as canvas or wood.
Her artistic influences have been largely inspired by famous artists such as Jacques Villeglé or Raymond Hains.
