Chica Boyriven was born in São Paulo, Brazil, and is a Franco-Brazilian artist who moved to France in the 1980s to pursue her artistic education. She studied at the Beaux-Arts in Paris under the renowned artist Pierre Alechinsky, a leading figure in the CoBrA movement, where she earned her diploma.
