Elga Zefirova is a mixedmedia artist originally from Ukraine. Sinse Russians full scale invasion to Ukraine in February 2022,  she found shelter in Austria to keep safe herself and her kids, while her husband joined military and has been defending their home. This dramatic experience has influenced Elga`z art a lot. Her latest themes are reflection of war trauma and separation from home and family. Elga is a master of mixed techniques and she likes to  experiment with materials and styles a lot. When doing her artshe is always balancing between planned/unpredictable. She loves to add some passion, rought strokes and splashes to get surprising mixtures and textures, yet follow the plan. She says it reflects her lifestyle: focus on the goal but be open to new opportunities.
