Paul Berriff is a documentary filmmaker and fine art photographer. Two BAFTAs, 17 international accolades, and a Golden Globe nomination. As Director of Photography, Cinematographer, and Producer on Werner Herzog's award-winning Lessons of Darkness. In the Queen's 90th Birthday Honours list, Paul was awarded an OBE. Photographing iconic rock singers in the 1960s while learning the trade as a press photographer at the age of 16, Paul recently produced a comprehensive compilation of his work. One-of-a-kind images of The Beatles from their first and second UK tours in 1963 and 1964 comprise the Beatles Hidden Gallery limited edition collection. The collection has been shown in Carnegie Hall New York, San Francisco, the Rock & Roll Museum Memphis, the Museum of Music Prague, Harvey Nichols Dubai, and the Menier Gallery London. Bradford's Salts Mill showcase center, where David Hockney had his last exhibition, hosted his most recent one. Collectors and a prestigious American museum have all purchased Paul's images, including a member of the Beatles' extended family as well as world-renowned rock performers. The photos are also on display at The Beatles Story in Liverpool. At this early stage of the group's existence, these images of The Beatles are the best I've ever seen, according to the CEO."
