Originaire de Bourgogne, aujourd’hui Sétois, j’ai découvert tardivement ma particularité, un peu par hasard, en discutant avec une journaliste…je suis doué de “synesthésie” depuis l’enfance. "Je vois la vie en rose, en tous les cas, en couleurs », Par exemple,"je me suis rendu compte, à travers mes dégustations, que ma mémoire gustative était extrêmement forte parce que je mettais des couleurs dessus." Grenache, Mourvèdre ou autre Cabernet Franc... les cépages, les terroirs se traduisent en nuances colorées qu’il transpose ensuite en tableaux où, paradoxalement, "l’abstrait rend visible l’invisible".
Comme un retour aux sources, je rêvait de faire les Beaux-Arts, avant de se passer de longues années, à Paris, plongé, dans le développement commercial et le marketing d’entreprises de la filière vin…
Ainsi naissait un sillon fertile qui je m'exprime aujourd'hui, sur les cimaises des expositions, sur les illustrations des palmarès des vin et l’édition de mon livre "Fragrances et cépages", recueil où je partage mon "autre vision du vin", car atteint d'une affection de la vue, aggravée depuis quelques années.
