Stas Royze began his way in southern Russia. Now he constantly lives and works in St. Petersburg (Russia). The influence of the colour of the south and the grim beauty of the northern metropolis influenced the artist’s work. Sometimes incompatible things are combined in his works, such as a riot of colour, restraint of the composition, expressive presentation and a verified concept.
