About the author
Alexandra is a Belgian painter born in 1986, in Brussels. She began expressing herself artistically at the tender age of three, quickly demonstrating her creative potential. One of her first creations was a depiction of a family house located in the countryside of Istanbul, a naive yet deeply thoughtful work that set her on her artistic journey.
As she continued to nurture her passion for art, Alexandra pursued a diploma in applied art and computer graphics. Despite her formal education, she remained committed to exploring her artistic expression as an autodidact, sensitive to various artistic trends, including abstract and contemporary art.
In 2018, Alexandra discovered her artistic identity through a series of contemporary paintings focused on wildlife, drawing inspiration from the light and dark contrasts characteristic of the painter Pierre Soulages. She is particularly passionate about experimenting with different materials, aiming to create textured reliefs in her paintings.
Alexandra's work is characterized by perpetual mutation, reflecting her ongoing exploration and evolution as an artist.
