Tout art semble à priori inaccessible et pourtant… créer, imaginer, transformer, voir et poser une vision du Monde sur une toile s’est invité en 1987, lorsque j’ai osé prendre un pinceau ; juste l’envie à 18 ans de tracer un premier sujet simple et naïf ; une sensation d’existence aussi vive qu’enthousiasmante et j’ai su que désormais la peinture allait être ma manière de m’exprimer. Aujourd’hui, les couleurs glissent entre paysages figuratifs et paysages abstraits que révèle la nature ; parfois en une abstraction complète avec les monotypes. Ce sont des voyages rêvés entre océan, forêt, eaux calmes d’un étang, colorant de silence le rayon d’un soleil absent… pigments empruntés à la palette pour une recherche de bien-être spirituel intérieur, sans cesse en évolution. Tous les titres de mes œuvres sont écrits en breton, amarrant ainsi ma création dans ce pays riche, de culture, de passion et d’une âme transfigurant les émotions. L’expérience artistique s’est poursuivie, me confirmant sans conteste que la perfection n’appartient qu’à Dieu, alors, à la vaine et froide tentative de perfection académique, je préfère l’imperfection qui donne de la poésie et de la vie à mes peintures.
