Through drawing, I showed my gaze, and through the evidence of this gaze I existed. Drawing led me to painting because I wanted larger formats, the adventure of color, light and shadows. I abandoned modeling and 3-dimensional work; the surface of the canvas became my playground, painting the material of thought, where my research towards a personal requirement of expression and the emotions that ran through me was superimposed.
Then leaving the external gaze, I began to work with shapes and colors that articulate, challenge, organize themselves towards a final subject belonging to an interior world where certain symbols become recurrent. Birds, trees, faces are the pretexts for the play of lines, shapes and colors tending towards their materialities and their intensities in the surface of the canvas....
