It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

This is an acrylic on canvas painting and is an homage to the old gossip or 'scandal magazines' in different forms and in different countries around the world. The color is mostly in neutrals and with red banners as a motif throughout the composition. It's not framed and features the 'gallery wrap' because it looks better that way. Sort of like a modern 'WeeGee' catches a beautiful oriental celebrity unawares and getting out of her limousine and a 'Paparazzi shot'. The Japanese Language is featured. Size is 48" high, 36" wide, and 1.3" deep. Finished last December. The modulation of the paint application has some elements of Pointillism.

Jeff Cornish is a contemporary award-winning American painter. His favorite themes are about the quality of light, mostly cinematic or noirish lighting, moody night scenes, and female figures.

For his works he got Honorable Mention, Michigan Annual XXXI, in 2003; Grant, Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation, in 2001; Best of Show, Michigan Annual XXI, 1998; People’s Choice Award, Look ‘88; Award for Excellence, Michigan Fine Arts Competition, 1983; Best in Show, Annual Eastern Michigan Exhibition, 1983.

Jeff Cornish was born in 1955, in St. Clair, Michigan, USA, where he graduated from the Central Michigan University of Fine Arts.
