Jane Gottlieb

Jane Gottlieb is a digital artist and photographer who has been using paint, shapes, and colors to express her love of art since she was a child. She began as a painter, then became a photographer, and over thirty years ago, she began hand-painting with vibrant colors on individual Cibachrome prints, resulting in a magnificent new uplifting reality.

She now scans her one-of-a-kind hand-painted prints, improves them with Photoshop, and prints them on aluminum, canvas, and paper that are archival.

Jane Gottlieb was born in 1946 in Los Angeles, California. She earned her bachelor's degree in painting and art history from UCLA in 1968, and her master's degree in graphic design from the School of Visual Arts in New York in 1969. His work can be found in a number of public collections (Laguna Art Museum in Laguna, Walt Disney Art Collection in Burbank, in California). Her work has been featured in numerous publications and television shows (Discovery Channel TV's "Jane Gottlieb: Dream Living," ABC TV's "Good Morning America" - Interview, Home & Art Studio Visit...)
