Guillaume DEFINS began to paint around the age of fifteen, using all sorts of supports and multiplying very colorful sketches and drawings.
He took painting lessons in Pascal's studio Moscovitz in Choisy le Roi.
From an early age, Guillaume showed a very pronounced taste for artistic disciplines, for music in particular by playing the cello and the synthesizer with touching sensitivity.
He tackles all kinds of themes, characters, still lifes and abstract paintings. He often works in series, which allows him to deepen his research and his artistic discoveries, both from a technical and pictorial point of view.
The abundant addition of materials heterogeneous and a very judicious choice of colors refer to an inhabited and living spectacle.
Because Guillaume DEFINS' quest remains communication with the world around him, but also with the dreamlike world. The viewer's dialogue with the work is an essential concern for him.
