I went to study economics and did not study at the university for three months.
I always thought that we have to decide what we want to do with our lives when we are still very young. For example, I was 15 when I was leaving school, and I wanted to open a music store, a bar and make a living from that.
Yes, I was kind of a hippie, but I didn't want to run out of money, so I thought that making money selling music was okay.
I went to study economics and did not study at the university for three months.
But luckily, I met a couple of friends who accompanied me in deciding to get out of there and explore what we were passionate about. One became a musician, the other became a plastic artist, and I became an art researcher. Although I have spent the last decade on advertising, I have no doubt that I made the right decision.
1.And I was absolutely happy.
The reasons why I studied art history, what it meant in my life.1. Knowledge of history helps to better understand the world.
When you study art, you must study the history of the world from prehistoric times. That is, from Las Cuevas de Altamira to the invention of photography, it passes through your eyes. And you understand what was happening at that time in the social sphere, and you understand why we communicated in a certain way. The world becomes understandable thanks to the image, body and dress, and this is really incredible.
2. Learn to read, write and research professionally.
The ideal option is to study art to work in museums, galleries or art institutions. But sometimes it doesn't. The tool you have for life is writing and researching skills, which is very beneficial for other jobs. For example, advertising. Studying the history of art is a difficult and time-consuming process, but it can always be made easier with history homework help and we are happy to say that there is a lot of such help on the Internet.
3. You will learn how to make money.
Let's be clear: the study of the arts is not the study of medicine. But as with any career, you will build work contacts throughout the semesters and be able to connect to your workspace. Writing content, selling artwork, managing galleries, etc. are tasks you can specialize in and make money from. You can support yourself with more specific postgraduate study and professional training.
4. Your travel companions will be the best in your life.
If there is anything that characterizes a humanities student, it is his sensitivity, creativity and knowledge. They are curious people who love life, travel, music and always want to discover something new for themselves. They make great adventure mates. They will always be able to provide you with essay assistance in difficult times when you cannot complete your task on your own.
While these are lessons that can be drawn from any career, they are written from my own experience. Study what provokes you and enjoy it, that's the idea.
