Frank Kortan is a contemporary award-winning German painter. He works in styles of Surrealism, Fantastic Realism, and Trompe-l'oeil. Furthermore, Kortan's figurative works are full of symbolism and humor. He works largely with oils on wood. Many museums across the world have bought his works for their collections. Kortan is a winner of the World Prize of Salvador Dalí for fine arts.

Frank Kortan was born in 1964, in Prague, Czech Republic. His paintings have been exhibited in Germany, France, Czech Republic, Monaco, Russia, Belgium, Italy, and Luxembourg.
