About
Through its deliberately short, intimate and friendly format, Paréidolie has become in a few years one of the trade fairs that count on the market, where discovery is equal to the curiosity of the gaze, where the constraint of space is transformed into demand for quality, where collectors, institutions and the general public enjoy meeting at the end of summer and at the start of a new artistic season! Paréidolie invests the entire walls of the Château de Servières in the 4th arrondissement of Marseille, i.e. a space of nearly 1000 m² shared between the fifteen or so selected galleries, the artists and structures invited, the bookshop spaces - debates - meeting and of course , a place to relax, meet and eat. The selection of galleries is entrusted to an independent artistic committee, chaired by Jean de Loisy and bringing together collectors, artists, curators and gallery owners: Nicolas Daubanes, Thierry Forien, Josée Gensollen, Laurent Godin, Pascal Neveux, Marine Pagés, Michèle Sylvander and Gérard Traquandi The two days of the Salon are preceded by a press visit and punctuated by a program of meetings, visits and evenings in the City Museums, at the FRAC, in the partner sites of the Saison du Dessin and to which collectors are invited, institutions and personalities from the art world.
