About
Intersect Aspen presents an art and design fair taking place each summer, in person at the Aspen Ice Garden. While fabulous in the winter months, Aspen in August is spectacular, and we are thrilled to host this special gathering, bringing together a selection of outstanding galleries, collectors, curators and art professionals.
About Intersect Art and Design
Intersect Art and Design produces three annual cultural events—Intersect Palm Springs, Intersect Aspen, and SOFA Chicago—that connect galleries with art lovers and collectors, highlighting art and design locally, regionally, and globally. Overseen by Managing Director Becca Hoffman, the Intersect team is committed to building community and connectivity in the locations of the fairs. Through cultural partners, programming, and curatorial vision, Intersect offers year-round opportunities for dialogue, engagement, and inspiration.
Intersect Fairs
Intersect Palm Springs has traditionally occurred in conjunction with Modernism Week at the Palm Springs Convention Center, and presents post-war and contemporary art. Formerly known as Art Palm Springs, it has been running since 2012.
Intersect Aspen is an annual art and culture event in the heart of one of the nation’s most prestigious collector communities. Formerly known as Art Aspen, it has been running since 2010.
SOFA Chicago is the largest of the three fairs, taking place annually at Chicago's Navy Pier, and focusing on three-dimensional artworks that cross the boundaries of fine art, decorative art, fiber arts, and design. The Fair has been running since 1993.

What happens after I submit my invitation request?
Upon receiving your request, we’ll check our current stock for available invitations for Intersect Aspen. If we have available invitations for your chosen fair or exhibition, we will directly send one to you. Should we find ourselves without an immediate invitation, we’ll reach out to the event organizers to secure additional ones.
Is receiving an invitation guaranteed after I apply?
While we have partnerships across numerous art events and endeavor to fulfill all requests, the reality is that invitations are highly limited. Consequently, we can’t promise an invitation to every applicant. Requests are honored on a "first-come, first-served" basis, and we strive to serve our community of art lovers and collectors as best as we can.
What if the invitations are all claimed?
Should we be unable to grant you an invitation due to depleted stocks, we will guide you on how to access the event, including information on purchasing tickets for Intersect Aspen. We’ll also provide details on any preferential access or discounts that might be available to our community.
