It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

On m'a toujours dit que la méditation était un exercice auquel tout le monde devrait s'adonner, car cela aurait des effets très bénéfiques pas seulement sur votre santé physique mais aussi sur votre stabilité mentale, mais est-ce que cela signifie que l'on doit devenir une sorte d'ermite et aller méditer dans une forêt ou une zone totalement isolée loin de tout le monde. Depuis récemment et maintenant mon médecin insiste pour que je fasse une longue et vive promenade tous les jours pour des raisons de santé. Mon itinéraire est généralement le même, sur les berges de l’ancien canal, sous la canopée de ces vieux arbres qui sont comme des anciens chiens de garde avec seulement le jogger occasionnel lors de sa course quotidienne l’expérience qui toujours été et va continuer d’être un plaisir pour mes yeux. Mais au même moment de ça et sans me rendre compte de ce que je faisais, je me retirais dans un cocon de silence et pensée en me plongeant dans une forme d’isolement mental qui pourrait être considérée comme une forme de méditation et je m’imaginais d’être l’ermite qui préfère se retirer à un endroit isolé pour méditer.

Richard Raveen Chester is a multifaceted artist. He developed a new form of printing using a digital technique and superimposing layers on heavy art paper. He specializes in contemporary simultaneous and continuous color printing. The artist reworks the print after the marouflage transfer onto heavy art paper to achieve the artistic effect.
His work is mainly inspired by his walks in the countryside and the sensations or feelings he experiences while doing them, and which he tries to share with the spectators of his works.
Richard Raveen Chester was born in 1954 in India. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication from Delhi University School of Art in 1976. He currently lives and works in Angers (France).
