Canadian freelance musician and music composer Andre Huggett, comes from a musically saturated background. He was part of a touring, von Trapp-esque family band in the 1960s through to the ’80s, during which time he was discovered at age 17 by renowned Beatles producer George Martin while in England.
Huggett soaked up whatever he could from Martin, started his own company in Ottawa around a decade later, then eventually joined GAPC, an audio and video production company in the city’s west end, where he’s worked for 21 years.
More importantly, Huggett has the strange, elusive touch that’s let him pump out hit after hit of radio jingle gold in neat, 30-second packages. Over his career, Andrew has accumulated over 3000 registered television credits. His music has been heard in over 180 countries worldwide and on all major North American television networks.
