Aline Barroso
Aline Barroso is best known for her paintings on paper that dance between the figurative and the abstract, uniting them with the brightness of the words that reflect each arwork.
She started her journey in an intuitive and self-taught way, in which each lived experience awoke a dormant feeling.
Joy, peace, acceptance, reunion with her essence and leadership of her life flourished by allowing herself to live what was always in her - art!
This intimate transformation propels her creations materializing feelings from this abstract universe. It goes through concepts that transcend the tangible in search of a sense of connection with something bigger than itself, walking between the microcosm and the macrocosm.

HOW NOT TO ERROR IN TIME TO INVEST IN ART
Giotto International Prize
Dom Pedro Hotels & Golf Collection, Lisboa, Portugal
The Giotto International Award is dedicated to the artists who have distinguished themselves in the field of painting, sculpture, photography and video art.
Giotto is recognized worldwide as one of the most important artists of the past but also of the present. Many remember the Florentine master for his "O".
The story of Giotto’s “O” stems from the need of Pope Boniface VIII who, in the early 1300 s, was looking for an artist to entrust with his portrait. He decided to send trusted men throughout the peninsula looking for the right Master. Giotto, in those days, was famous for being the author of the Crucifix of S. Maria Novella in Florence. That work was the viaticum for the Pope's choice together with a simple circle. During the meeting with the Pope's trustee, the young painter drew a circle on a simple sheet to demonstrate his abilities. The circle on canvas traveled as far as Rome and the simplicity of the form drawn with ease was enough for Bonifacio VIII to understand the qualities of the artist.
Artwork Staring at the Beauty has been awarded for artistic merit. The artwork has the following description:
The art calms down the brain by absorbing through fixed eyes the colors of the universe, which in every way bring us colorful figures with the outcome of their actions: the sunset, the twilight and the lack of light that adorn the stars, Holy night.
Do not close your eyes to the beauty. Only through them, we can bring joy through colors in order to strengthen our physical body.
A glance at the look transcribed on the paper leads to a joyful situation.
The sensation of beauty is abstract in this Artwork Staring at the Beauty.
The artwork also appeared in Art International Contemporary Magazine in the November - December 2019 edition.
