"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

2019-2024: Une série sur les sens le fait renouer avec une recherche ancienne sur la traduction des sensations liées aux sens ( Le goût - l'odorat - le toucher ) en couleurs, traits, rythmes ...
2010 - 2019 : Ces derniers travaux regroupés dans une série intitulée " Construction-Déconstruction- Reconstruction" proposent des sculptures polygonales en verre acrylique et vitrophanie en quelque sorte des vitraux en trois dimensions.
2002 - 2010 : Depuis 2002, Alexandre H. a renoncé à la toile pour peindre sur support transparent et lisse (verre, plexiglas, vinyle...). Il utilise la très ancienne technique de la peinture à l'envers sur verre.
Il l'a adaptée pour produire également des peintures sous plexiglas.
L'un et l'autre procédés répondent chez lui à un besoin de mise en chantier de la profondeur dans les champs de la perspective et de multiplication des plans pour une lecture plurielle de l'œuvre.
1990 - 2002 : Durant cette période, l’ intérêt pour la réalité humaine, le dépassement de cette réalité, l’amènent à interpréter les corps, à les traiter en profondeur , à écorcher les apparences tout en conservant une lisibilité au sujet et en dépouillant à l’extrême l’environnement du sujet, le décor.
Il poursuit ainsi sa recherche sur la troisième dimension dans le plan, tout en refusant le trompe l’œil ou la perspective.
Cette période a produit toute une série de réalisations : d’une part, des travaux à thématique érotique intitulés « écorchés tendrement affectifs » ; d’autre part, des œuvres traitant des événements du temps, tout en développant un regard original sur la société et sur les sujets d’actualité.
1980 - 1989 : Ingénieur de formation, il développe durant cette période un rapprochement entre art et sciences, notamment par la création de l’association HOLOVISION . (L’holographie utilise l’interférométrie laser pour enregistrer et projeter des scènes en trois dimensions).
Ces années sont consacrées à la réalisation et à l’exposition d’hologrammes de grandes dimensions.
L’ arrêt de la fabrication de plaques holographiques de grandes dimensions par Eastman Kodak interrompt cette création.
1975 - 1980 : Son travail se situe dans la tendance de l’abstraction poétique et lyrique.
Il participe à des expositions dans différentes villes, en France : Brest, Paris, Lyon, Aix en Provence et à l’étranger: Kiel, Karlsruhe, Saarbrücken, Washington.
A signaler une exposition personnelle importante au Palais des Arts de Brest en mars 1977.
