This multilayered painting is provided with strong structures, so it gets great depth. Heavily applied and smudged colors make it look different depending on the light. The minimalist artwork is painted with acrylic paints in gray, black, light blue, rust, cadmium yellow, and white. A few accents in gold complement the motif. Small islands of color attract the viewer's gaze and invite him to linger.
The artwork is painted with acrylic paints on stretched canvas. The sides are painted, so there is no need for an additional frame.

Hello and welcome to my Artmajeur profile! My name is Edelgard Schroer, and I have been creating original abstract and floral acrylic paintings for over 20 years. My work is a fusion of vibrant colors, expressive textures, and emotional depth, bringing movement and energy to every canvas.
My Artistic Journey
Art has been part of my life since childhood, as I grew up as the granddaughter of Johann Keuten, a well-known Niederrhein painter. My passion for painting led me to work alongside Jean Pellen in Düsseldorf, where I refined my techniques in abstract painting and textured art.
Since 2003, my husband and I have been running our own art gallery in Geldern, Germany, where I not only exhibit my work but also offer custom framing services. My paintings have been featured in international exhibitions, art fairs, and private collections worldwide.
