Ebony Easter

I began drawing around age nine. My father coached me when I asked him "How do I start?", referring to a drawing I wanted to do of Elizabeth Taylor out of the Parade magazine. He said "Draw what you see." Since then whether it be from a model or my minds eye, I put my whole heart into my work. I draw (or create) what I see. Art comes to me in seasons and I have been desolate for over 10 years. I am just now waking up, and beginning to create again. I began to flourish in middle school, high school and college with wonderful art teacher ls who believed in me. Now I just need to carry that belief in my self and wake up, artistically.
