One May day. Palic lake, Subotica, Vojvodina Serbia. From the Lakes collection.
Palić lake is located in Vojvodina, 8 kilometers from the town of Subotica, one of the most beautiful cities in Serbia. This is the largest natural lake in Serbia, and the first records of it date from the 15th century where it is mentioned under the name Pali. This fabulous lake is nowadays one of the most popular destinations in Serbia and the host of a film festival. If you ever come to Serbia you should definitely visit this beautiful place.
According to the legend, Palić lake was created from the tears of shepherd Pavle who lost his herd and that is why the water is salty. According to another story, the lake was created from the ancient Pannonian Sea that once bathed the shores of today’s Pannonian Plain.
Palić lake is the right place for everyone looking for a pleasant holiday on the lake, walks in nature and good entertainment. This is one of the most visited destinations in Serbia, above all, due to its beauty and diverse possibilities for holiday and relaxation.

Welcome to my Artmajeur fine art gallery!
I am a fine art photographer, photo editor-retoucher and photo restorator and colorist from Serbia with years of experience. I mostly do landscape photography but also other genres of photography and I love to photograph all those beautiful scenes that are worth saving forever.
I started doing fine art photography when I was very young. But I can say that I have been actively and more seriously engaged for the last 25 years, maybe even more. I acquired my education through various professional literature, as well as through online courses and tutorials. however, I mainly acquired my skills through many years of practice, learning during creating, and hard work. I found inspiration in the artworks of great masters of painting and photography. I am still trying to improve myself even more and learn something new. My works can be found in several world-famous online galleries and I have also exhibited my works in art galleries and exhibitions in the country.
Here you can buy my artwork prints: fine art prints, canvas prints, metal prints, framed prints that will decorate your home and all of that in the best possible print quality. All you see here are my original artworks, so I do not resale any stock images.
What makes me happiest is when I see that people really like my work and want it hanging on their walls. That makes me work harder and create even more nice artworks. I hope you will like some of my images.
Enjoy.
