Nives Palmić wurde 1961 in Kroatien geboren. Sie absolvierte die Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Ljubljana. Heute arbeitet sie als Kunstlehrerin sowie als Mentorin und Gutachterin für Kunstausstellungen. Nives Palmić ist auch Autorin des 2011 erschienenen beliebten Ratgeberbuchs "From Drawing to Painting".

Textur ist in seinen Zeichnungen essentiell, spiegelt den Charakter jedes Motivs wider und fügt eine sinnliche Dimension hinzu.
