Als leidenschaftlicher Gymnasiallehrer verfolgt er diskret eine anspruchsvolle und ununterbrochene künstlerische Praxis.
Seine Arbeiten, vor allem Tusche- und Graphitzeichnungen auf Papier, konzentrieren sich auf Körper und Landschaften. Dominique bevorzugt bescheidene Formate, selten größer als A4, und verfolgt in seinen Kreationen einen seriellen Ansatz: Brücken, Ozeane, Wellen, Porträts usw.
Er arbeitet gerne im Freien und fängt die Essenz der Natur und der umliegenden Landschaften ein. Allerdings findet er seine Inspiration oft und schafft die meisten seiner Werke in geschlossenen Räumen, wo er sich ganz auf die Details und Präzision seiner Zeichnungen konzentrieren kann.
