La manière d’aborder le dessin et l’expression artistique est propre à chacun. Elle varie selon le vécu, la sensibilité, l’envie et les opportunités provoquées ou fortuites.
Mon intérêt et ma passion pour le dessin et la peinture datent de l’enfance. Le crayon, puis la sanguine et enfin la couleur, voilà les 3 marches successives par lesquelles j’ai franchi la porte des arts plastiques.
A mes premiers cours municipaux d’arts plastiques, ont succédé des années de cours à Paris dans l’atelier « Culture et loisir » puis dans l’atelier « Cercle des arts plastiques du Ministère des Finances», dirigé chacun par des professeurs artistes, diplômés des beaux arts : Jean-Claude, puis Delphine.
Mon approche est avant tout figurative, mes sujets sont multiples et variés : Paysages, portraits, enfance, vues urbaines, situations diverses… mon inspiration vient de l’observation de tout ce qui me semble esthétique et beau.
J’aime traduire la vie sous tous ses aspects.
